BARBAZUL (V. T. Cádiz)

Barbazul is a wine from the land of Cadiz that is obtained from a meticulous and very careful elaboration, as with its brothers Taberner wines. In its blend, intense and somewhat saline Syrah is nuanced by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and a Tintilla de Rota (recovered native variety) that takes on more prominence. Fermentations in steel and brief passage through French oak barrels of five months.

It is an intense cherry wine with violet tones. Clean, bright, and with fine tears. On the nose, aromas of very ripe black fruit stand out with spicy notes. Gradually pleasant hints of aromatic herbs, balsamic notes and fine toasted notes appear. On the palate it is fresh, elegant, with a good load of fruit and a magnificent acidity. Long finish with liquor aftertaste and remarkable persistence.
