E. MENDOZA PINOT NOIR (Alicante)

Enrique Mendoza Pinot Noir is a red wine harvested on the 2nd half of September. The grapes were harvested and gently destemmed, so that in small stainless steel deposits it fermented at 25oC with the maximum whole grain. The wine had a post-fermentative maceration of 7 days. Aged in new first year French allier oak barrels for 10 months.

Enrique Mendoza Pinot Noir is a red wine harvested on the 2nd half of September. The grapes were harvested and gently destemmed, so that in small stainless steel deposits it fermented at 25oC with the maximum whole grain. The wine had a post-fermentative maceration of 7 days. Aged in new first year French allier oak barrels for 10 months. A high expression wine in ruby red with a high robe with garnet and shingle nuances typical of its time in barrels. With the aroma of ripe fruit, red as currant and blueberry are intertwined with notes of great mineralization such as red stones or graphite. It also reminds us of white and violet flowers, all well accompanied by fine notes of toast, smoke and vanilla acquired in the ageing. With good structure due to the vintage it is still fine, soft and with a pleasant juicy and cheerful tannin that gives it to live. Alcohol content: 14 % vol.
