It is an intense wine on the nose, brimming with black fruit, fresh balsamic notes, lots of minerality and elegant barrel toast. The aging of El Repiso is carried out by means of a long-term incubation with post-fermentation maceration. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation under controlled conditions. Aging: 15 months in 225 L. French and American oak barrels. Harvesting: Trellised vineyard grown in siliceous, sandy-clay soil and poor in organic matter. Support deficit drip irrigation. The perfect balance between exposed leaf surface and grape is sought. Selected manual harvest with Tempranillo grape.
