LUSTAU ESCUADRILLA AMONTILLADO (Jerez)

Escuadrilla Amontillado is a generous wine initially bred under “flower”, followed by several years of oxidative ageing. It is made with palomino raised in American oak boots, through the system of solera and criaderas, in the wineries of Emilio Lustau. He first grew up for 4 years under flower veil and then 8 years in oxidative ageing in the winery of Empress Eugenia in Jerez de la Frontera. It is a classic sherry pile: full-bodied, elegant and balanced. A wine that pays homage to the camaraderie and friendship of the Air Army squadron of which Emilio Lustau was a part.
