Produced in the Emilio Moro family winery, which continues to produce in a traditional way, taking advantage of the knowledge inherited from generation to generation since its foundation more than 70 years ago. The name of this wine, Malleolus, comes from the Latin word majuelo, a term used in the area to refer to the vineyards. A varietal Tinta Fina.La used for the production of Malleolus comes from the Camino Viejo vineyard. A vineyard planted in 1989, at an altitude of 890 meters above sea level, on a hillside with a large slope. The soils are clay soils with some area of limestone concentration especially in the highest parts of the farm. The production of Emilio Moro Malleolus begins with a maceration with the skins that lasts for 28 days. Once this maceration is finished, it undergoes malolactic fermentation and its subsequent aging for 18 months in new French oak barrels Allier.A high expression wine from the Ribera del Duero elegant, sincere, complex and with a great structure.
