MARTIN VERASTEGUI RESERVA (V. T. Castilla)

It is a red wine made from 75% tempranillo grape variety and 25% Grenache, grape from old vines over 50 years old and with a maximum production of 3000 Kg. Martín Verastegui Reserva has an alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, malolactic fermentation in American oak vats and Frances. Fine grain barrels with different toasted notes. It remains for 12 months of bottle storage before going on the market. Being a guard wine and because of its few treatments some natural sedimentation may appear. The optimal time of consumption is from 2008 to 2025. Intense colour, cherry red with maroon edges. Intense and deep nose, jam of blackberries, black fruits (plum, raisin) and roasted. Fleshy on the palate, black and ripe fruit with light spicy and mineral tones.
